Things Worth Noting in the Rankings:

Brandon Jumps Oak Mountain (Twice!):

At the Tift County Peach State Invitational, Brandon beat Oak Mountain in both the overall mixed and single-gender categories. This week’s rankings reflect both of these results, as Brandon not only jumps Oak Mountain in both categories, but Oak Mountain’s girls group fell from second to fourth. Brandon has now finished their competitive season, but Oak Mountain has one more event left in that of Show Choir Nationals.

Jackson Academy and One Last Chance:

Jackson Academy exits the top ten mixed groups rankings, with Enterprise taking ninth place and West Jones entering the rankings at tenth place. Jackson Academy, like Oak Mountain, only has one competition left this season: Show Choir Nationals.

Homewood Out, Spain Park In:

The only significant change in the middle division rankings would be that of Homewood falling out of the top five groups, and Spain Park entering the rankings in the fourth-place spot. This also knocks Albertville down from fourth to fifth. The top three groups remain unchanged with Northeast Jones, Vestavia Hills, and South Jones rounding out the podium.

Prattville Replaces Laurel:

Small division rankings remain largely unchanged, with the only difference being that Prattville now enters the rankings in fifth place, replacing Laurel. The top four remains unchanged with Oxford, West Marion, Pisgah, and Wayne County.

Out of the Circuit:

Even with the southern circuit officially finished for the 2024 season, there are still a few southern groups competing elsewhere. Clinton and Madison Central traveled to Heart of America Orlando in Florida, Petal traveled to the Marysville Showcase in Ohio, Auburn traveled to the Andover New England Show Choir Showdown in Massachusetts, and Grenada, Jackson Academy, and Oak Mountain will travel to Tennessee for Show Choir Nationals.
