Things worth noting in the rankings:

Tons of Flips:

This week we don’t see much change in the rankings, except where two groups simply swap spots. This week, this applied to the following combos: Laurel and West Marion, Homewood and South Jones, Brandon and Auburn (in the single-gender rankings), and Northwest Rankin and Tift County (also in single-gender). This indicates that these groups are at razor-thin margins within one another, meaning these rankings are very possible to see themselves change in the upcoming weeks.

Goodbye West Jones, Hello Northwest Rankin:

On their week off, West Jones just barely saw themselves fall out of the top 10, with Northwest Rankin taking their place after a solid performance this last weekend at the Homewood South Central Classic. West Jones looks to reassert themselves this next weekend with their performance at the Petal Show Choir Invitational.

Auburn’s Perfection Spoiled:

Auburn saw their chance at a perfect season spoiled this last weekend thanks to Grenada at the inaugural Tupelo King City Classic. Auburn also saw themselves fall two spots in the rankings, down from 5th to 7th. Auburn will be taking a week off from competition this weekend as they host their own competition, the Auburn Show Choir Showdown.
